Pricing (overview)

Pricing- a general overview. Contractors have there own ways of going about pricing projects.  Each companies approach is unique.  They call these pricing methods recipes, which are complex formulas that take into account a variety of information.  The pricings are based off of the level of a building.  For instance, a brick building on level one at grade is going to cost less than say level six in terms of labor, time, and scaffolding.  They know how much materials that they will be needed based on the square footage taken from the drawings that they receive from the architects.
